back in the van!
Knox is to my left, Trae directly in front of me acting as co-pilot to David’s driving, then behind him is Jon, a sleeping Greg, Pail who is on the bench playing DS and a van full of gear(*on this particular trip the van was packed like a sardine can with all of us squeezed into the middle section of the van, Trae and David in the front two seats and the back...

Last night (or this morning, rather) before the guys played at 1 a.m. many drinks were consumed; Then after the show they only flowed more freely. Everyone was feeling pretty good, even Greg who hadn’t been drinking loosened up to the point of dancing with us all which definitely made me happy. Jon Cole and I were dancing fools for the majority of the night. Chicago...

2:30(ish) a.m.
I’m sitting in the van at Eagle’s Way Church, the boys are loading all their gear into the back. Everyone is tired but also it seems everyone is excited. We’re headed to Chicago where DO2W is playing a Lollapalooza after party. I’m watching David, Trae and Paul load gear.
